About the event
Strength Yoga is a blend of traditional yoga poses and high intensity interval training (HIIT). Not only will you destress, build flexibility and balance, but you will increase cardio and more effectively tone muscles. Each class will be comprised of a gentle yoga sequence to begin, followed by a few low-impact HIIT yoga exercises that can be modified to meet you where you’re at, and will conclude with a gentle yoga cool down and savasana.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find class and get settled before class begins. You should bring your own yoga mat if you're able. Ankle/wrist weights and/or light hand weights are not necessary, but can be a good addition if you have them and would like to bring them with you. Please feel free to bring anything else you feel would help make your class more comfortable. This class is intended for adults. Teens are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent. Class is $10 and can be paid in cash at class.
If you have registered and cannot make it to class, please email me at heather.yoga@icloud.com as soon as possible. Cancelations will not be accepted via Instagram or Facebook. I understand that life can get in the way, but as much notice as possible is very much appreciated. After three cancelations with less than six hours notice, a non-refundable, non-transferable advance payment will be required upon receiving your registration for each class.
In keeping health and wellness of ourselves and those around us at the forefront of our practice, please do not attend if you or a member of your household is not feeling well. A face mask is not required, but you're always welcome to wear one if it makes you more comfortable. *These guidelines are subject to change.
